Hello! My name is Dagotto, and I'm creating Inn Another World!
This is a hand drawn sandbox VN matched with management style gameplay. Given another chance at life and a mission by a mysterious power, you must build up and run your own inn, while making connections with the people around you and exploring the new world you've come to live in.

Game Features:
-Meet and romance a diverse cast of girls: You'll meet girls of all types and shapes, from goblins to centaurs, gnomes to harpies. Each has their own problems and issues, which you'll have to learn about in order to get closer to them.
-Build and decorate your inn: Construct your ideal inn in full 3d. Build guest rooms, attractions and more, then furnish and decorate it with items found in game.
-Greet your guests: What good is an inn without guests? As you expand and upgrade your inn, you'll attract ladies of every shape and size. Make them feel welcome enough and you might just earn a reward.
-Hand-drawn, expressive art: Talk and romance girls with detailed character sprites so you can easily feel their emotions. Careful not to break any hearts out there!
-A growing, intricate world: Every update will bring more girls, more stories, and, of course, more steamy scenes for players to see.

Are the scenes in this game replayable from talking to the characters directly after doing so? (romance scenes).
I'm having trouble saving because I can't pull up save button. And the screen size won't fit right on my laptop screen for the game, which makes that harder to fix. Is there a reccomendation of the ideal settings for this game for screen etc?

Hi, I almost unlocked all the scenes but I'm stuck with camilla. How do I unlock her last scene?
if you've got the book room built in your inn, there's about a 20% chance each night (time 4) that she will visit the book room. If you see her icon on the map next to the inn, you need to go into the inn building part, then you should see a little chibi version of her in the book lending room. if you zoom in and click on her, it will start the scene

bugs still remaining on Android from previous version (not sure if you tried to fix them or if my reistall is botched):
Even with above bugs, <3 the game. Still finding new stuff in-game and in controls - e.g. that two-finger tap opens the main menu - uber cool!

It appears that for Ritsuki story you can buy the remedy BEFORE asking if the alchemist gal has it, which causes the event to break entirely, leaving you with two blank options that do nothing when you interact with Ritsuki's building after that.

Hi i am Trying to play the android version and it crashes after the unity screen anytips?
If you haven't already, I recommend trying the "Low Spec" Android version. It's much lighter on RAM usage, which is usually the cause of crashes at startup.

I cannot read how to unlock beths 4th scene as the hint text is almost completely of the screen

This game is great, characters are fun, inn building is entertaining and the progression seems steady. I can't wait for more!
How do I clean the rooms?
I noticed on the Android version you can't set the screen resolution. This causes some of the important icons on the edge to be unselectable. I'm unable to put furniture in rooms in this case.
Having an issue where the main character stays visible in all sex scenes, covering part of the screen
Actually, not just sex scene but any scenes that shows an image instead of a conversation. The last MC conversation sprite seems to not get deactivated before the scene anymore
It might not be a bad idea to lock some character story elements behind the star rating of the Inn. I was confused when I was unlocked the library in Camilla's storyline LONG before I unlocked the ability to build special rooms. I thought the game might've been glitched for a while.
Also, there was a weird minor glitch where Tirria's "rubbing" scene was unlocked in my journal before I got to it in her storyline. Not sure how that happened. It was right after I talked to her in her room about being attractive.
i have no idea where to unlock that, were yo using a previous save? cos if so then i need to go looking again...

I'll probably be posting a poll either on the discord or the patreon page about what kind of transformation potion content people want to see.
As long as it's explicitly optional content, I say go as freaky as you're willing to go. I do see merit in a poll to see how much priority you should give it in the overall development, though.
One question is what you have planned next for the next update? The 0.08v
Next update is going to be some smaller stuff (0.075), like new random guests, new potion takers, more scenes, etc.
Then 0.08 is going to be about the harpy at the general store. (who will be getting a complete make over for her update)

Super fun, Love the stories, If I could suggest one thing, when someone has a "!" ready to put it above their heads or something, I missed vara's whole story because I didn't click on the angels head to expand the Inn T-T haha.
That's definitely going to be in the next version, I had the same idea when I was testing the update haha
Still has the bug where the anal scene with Vera (at least on smallest breast size) becomes a vaginal one.
I had that at normal breast size, i think thers no images or gifs for anal
Hard to say. In any case, since we get the option, I consider this a bug.

sorry if this was already answered but do we have an release date when its coming to steam? or is it cancelled for now until this whole payment processor thing is over.
At the moment, I’m waiting for Steam to verify the game files and build. After that it needs a week or two before release. All things told, hopefully it will release end of next month on Steam.

Since ChromOS seems to be a branch based on Linux, I would the “best download” would be the Linux one.
But seriously, it’s mainly just Chrome as an OS, I’m not sure you can really run this game on it.

Hey FYI some of the folders you have will show an error when you click on them. The folders are Derpie MCs and second main folder. I don't know why they aren't working. BTW, you got me inspired to do the same thing!

@Dagotto how are you weathering the current shit storm? As one of my favorites creaters on the platform (definitely top 3) I hope you'll do alright. Is there any conceivable alternative to Visa/Mastercard creators can consider? Possibly not?
As of now, (emphasis on the now part) it hasn't affected me too badly. My main source of income from the game is the Patreon page, and perhaps the Steam page in the future, and my game doesn't seem to be controversial enough to to get banned from either.
If things do get worse in the future? I may need to make the main version of the game SFW and offer up the NSFW content in an optional patch, but we'll see how things shake up.

I was really taken aback at how charming this game is. It's not yet another scene hunter: The characters have actual meat to them, and the world, while a very trope-y fantasy one, is actually written in a way that I WANT to learn about it's history, people, and geography.
I think I only have 3, generalized peeves about the writing and certain gameplay.
1. It feels like the demi-humans were written in a way that naturally precluded them from ever being part of the main cast. I don't know if this was intended because Dagotto didn't want to have anthros front and center, or just the way their lore developed, but it is kinda disappointing to realize they basically won't be featured as long-term guests in anyway at all. It would've been nice if at least a few of them had been written to be either beast, or Demi-human, depending on the player's choice.
2. The whole Iskeai premise felt like it was both unnecessary and underutilized.
The fake backstory Rei and the player play by is, IMO, much more interesting a premise than the player simply being from Earth. A nobody from an isolated village being picked as a "chosen one", not to slay a great evil, but to directly interact and help people feels like something fresh. And the player's Earth life is not used for anything beyond the player occasionally recognizing a race from IRL fiction, or reference IRL geography. It feels like something more interesting would've been the player actually working at/or owning a hotel, because then he would have something to riff off of. I get some people find the "guy is an expert at X and then does X in the Isekai world" cringe sometimes, but I think it's one of the better uses of the genre.
3. Stat System
The Stat system feels like absolute pointless busy work for the sake of busy work and to waste the player's time. It should've naturally fit into interacting with the characters, rather than simply being a "do you want to actually talk to people? Well, have fun clicking a button 20-25 times before you have all the stats needed for that, buddy."
I have a few minor gripes with the room building, but otherwise that's about it. I'd love to hear from Dagotto on point 1 and 2, since I feel kind of weird complaining about those, and I'd love to be challenged on them, but I expected he's quite busy with the Steam release. Very fun experience, regardless, and I wish him well.

For your peeves:
1. There are going to be demi-human girls added to the main cast. I have at least 2 completely new ones planned for the future. Iris and Chloe (the lizard girl and the mantis girl) are also demi-humans, and will be both getting a full story in future updates.
2. The isekai thing. I can understand it feeling a bit superfluous. Personally, I have gone back and forth on its inclusion in the game. (I considered making the MC actually from a very rural, human only village, and maybe Rei could be a spirit that's attached to the inn). I'm mostly using it as a literary device at the moment; to give a reason why the MC has no knowledge of this new world, and needs explanations/makes mistakes a modern human might. I will be getting more into the "main story" in the future, regarding the Goddess, Rei, and the future of the game world.
3. Yea...the stats. I guess it could be considered unnecessary. I tried my best to make it as non-grindy as possible. From my experience (though it may be skewed a bit as the one who actually made the game) just doing odd jobs on time slots where you have nothing to do, and when trying to make money, will generally get the player past most stat checks in girls' storylines. I was kind of going for trying to make the player feel like they are actually interacting with the world, not just cruising through disconnected stories. In the future, I hope to add various art and art variations to each workplace, to reward players a bit more for grinding stats and money.
I hope that explains my reasoning a bit, and thanks again for checking out the game ^^
Oh hey, thanks for responding! The thing about stat systems is they're kinda synonymous with VNs. I DID forget about the money aspect, which I actually really did appreciate (did the amount earned through jobs increase with higher skill? That part has left my head) For what it's worth, It wasn't like I was fuming while doing it, I just kinda wished there were a few events/dialogue opportunities that could pop up while doing them. I am glad you didn't go for mini-games, because I find that most of the VN with those outstay their welcome real fast (and it's even worse when they aren't properly balanced, so they either become extremely hard as you progress, or become so easy to the point they might as well not exist.)
I left out the actual Room setup portion in my feedback, but I feel like this *might* need some kind of secondary tutorial, as IIRC the whole set bonus system was completely absent from the first one, and it seems like that's the primary way to make the "best" rooms.
