Hey all,
Welcome to the first devlog for Inn Another World (or IAW for short)!

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone who downloaded and played the game, and a big special thanks to those who liked it enough to rate it, follow it, give feedback and especially those who donated/subscribed. I hope you guys continue to enjoy the game!

On to the actual devlog!

1. Update Schedule:

 At the moment, I'm aiming for a roughly 60 day patch cycle. I'd really love it to go to a monthly update, but as I'm still working full-time and using most of my free time to work on the game, that's just not feasible at the moment. Perhaps in the future, if the game takes off more, but for now, I want to make sure to balance speed, quantity, and quality.

2. Update Contents:

 I'm going to be aiming for between 2-4 girls content per major patch for the near future. Either a moderate amount of content for 4 girls, or a larger amount of content for 2. In the future, there will also be other things added in for major patches, such as mini-games, game-wide features, or advanced systems (e.g. more inn management, pregnancy, etc.)

3. Next Update:

• Content: The next update will be focused on the 4 major girls at the moment (Alice, Maria, Vera, and Tirria). Expect several events for each character, and 1-3 scenes each.
• Major streamlining: With this update, one of my goals has been to streamline the existing story lines. I've significantly reduced the amount of affection needed to level up each girl, as well as reducing the amount of "generic" conversations needed for each character.
• GUI Upgrades: The two major features I'd like to implement for the next major update. First, the memory journal. I'd like to have this not only visually display the events unlocked, but also show the remaining locked events, and provide hints to unlock them. Second, I'd like to add a visual screen for the MC's stats. This would also make it easier to see the progress made by the player towards leveling up the various stats.
• Minor bug-fixes and improvements.

4. Current Status:

As of the date of this this devlog, the new content for Maria is almost finished (check the picture for a sneak peak!). A more in-depth sneak peek will be going up soon for Patreon subscribers! After Maria, Alice will be the next character, then the other 2 girls.
